Another meaningful event took place in our school in cooperation with Izmir State Classical Turkish Music Choir and Eraslan Foundation. Within the scope of 12 March Acceptance of the National Anthem and 18 March Çanakkale Martyrs Commemoration Week activities, valuable vocal and instrumental artists of the State Choir gave a commemoration concert at Yüksel Eraslan Cultural Centre. Soloist Ümit Yazıcı performed the works composed of the lyrics of the National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy.

Aylin Musluoğlu, Principal of Private Aegean High School, and Sibel Şenol, Principal of Private Aegean Primary School, watched the event, which was presented by our esteemed choir as part of the educational concerts, together with our 9th and 10th grade students.

In his presentation, soloist Ümit Yazıcı gave important information about the life, works and personality of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who is called the poet of the century. As the Private Ege Family, we would like to thank the Izmir State Classical Turkish Music Choir for being with us at this important commemorative concert and congratulate our students who formed an exemplary audience at the concert.
